• Bird’s nest is functional food for people who want to take care of themselves.
  Chinese traditional belief about bird’s nest consumption is that it is the food of elites or royal family, rare and expensive item and it helps to nurture lung. It is called “East of Caviar”
• Now there are many scientific researches about benefits of bird’s nest. It contains biologically active substances.
  – Epidermal Growth Factor (EGF) which stimulates new skin cells
  – Sialic Acid which stimulates the nervous system and brain
  – Glycoprotein which stimulates white blood cells to produce antibacterial and antivirus
  – Amino Acid which is needed for the body

Bird’s nest house is our family business. Mum start to built bird’s nest house in 2012. She spent time more than 10 years in this business.

Originally we sold the raw bird’s nest to other entrepreneurs but at the present people tend to take care themselves, consume healthy food and focus on comfortable consumption. So we established “SHEWON” under brand management by KCDINTERTRADE CO.,LTD. in 2017 in order to produce new product to solve the weakness of bird’s nest products in the market.

There are  2 type of bird’s nest product in the market. The first is cleaned raw bird’s nest. If you want to eat it, you have to soak the raw bird’s nest in water about 1-2 hours and cook it about 30 mins. After that you get the fresh bird’s nest that can keep in the refrigerator 1-2 weeks. Yes! it’s long processing and short shelf life.

And another type is ready to drink (bird’s nest in a bottle) which is very high weight and easy broken between shipping. So SHEWON produce the new product, we call “Dried Bird’s Nest Instant Drink” in 2018
